The MUSTANGS THEATRE COMPANY
Who Are we?
The Mustangs Theatre Company has been up and running since 2002, under Immaculata Regional High School's fine arts programs. Immaculata is a Catholic Independent high school in Kelowna, British Columbia. Our student body is currently under 300 students, but do not let that fool you! We may be small, but our talented, committed students have produced some of the greatest productions the Kelowna theatre community has ever seen. Check out the Gallery for photos of previous seasons' performances, and make sure to take a look at our current productions under the 2019/20SEASON tab.
What do we do?
The Mustangs Theatre Company offers acting and stagecraft classes in grades 8 and 9, with a focus on the academics of theatre while still using performance as a tool to teach. Our Theatre Production 10 and 11/12 programs operate as a viable theatre company, dealing with all aspects of theatre (business, technical, performance) through a single semester. This process culminates in a final series of performances. MTC also offers a drama club that offers full scale productions throughout the school year, for students who are not able to fit fine arts into their class schedules or just want more theatre. We have performed at various venues throughout Kelowna, British Columbia, such as The Kelowna Actors Studio, The Mary Irwin Theatre, The Kelowna Community Theatre, The Okanagan College Theatre, the Kelowna Sunplex, Waterfront Park Stage, and in our own Old Barn Blackbox Theatre. The wide variety of options The Mustangs Theatre Company provides is not only an asset to Immaculata Regional High School, but to each and every student who participates in one of its programs.
